A leading independent school on the Surrey/Berkshire borders require a part-time teacher of Resistant Materials from January,2022 ideally, however, a later start would also be considered. This is a permanent position which would entail teaching Resistant Materials and Product Design to A level and would include fast track opportunities for positions with responsibility for the right candidate.   Assistance with accommodation is available.

Essential: Prior experience teaching Resistant Materials and Product Design or applications from strong NQTs or postgraduates would also be warmly received. Full support would be provided for the NQT Induction.

Desired: Experience teaching to A level and background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

The school's mission is to foster a thirst for knowledge and a real commitment to learning. Students are shown what it means to take responsibility; they are encouraged to develop a strong moral code with the ability to make informed judgements about what is right and wrong. Central to their ethos is the importance of caring for others and teaching students important skills for later life: social, physical and practical.

If you are an enthusiastic about Design & Technology and interested in teaching in a top independent school, please forward your CV asap to devra.farhi@harrishill.co.uk or please ask for Devra on tel: 020 7820 7308 for an informal chat.

Harris Hill is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all partners to share this commitment.
