A leading independent school in London require a Senior Science Technician from September, ideally, however, a later start in the term would also be considered. This is a permanent position which would entail providing technical support to the physics and Chemistry departments primarily.  The role would entail contributing to students' learning experiences by assisting with the preparation of materials and apparatus for practical work, conducting health & safety procedures, and providing support for co-curricular and whole-school events.

Essential: A degree in Science or equivalent, good written and verbal communication skills, and experience in a laboratory environment.

Desired: Experience working in a school environment and working in more than one Science discipline would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

Cutting edge facilities and equipment are on offer at the school with a strong commitment to continued, top professional development for staff.

The successful candidate will be able to convey his/her own enthusiasm, commitment to students of all ages, and to encourage self-motivation, a genuine love of learning and enquiry to the students in the department. The school places an equal focus on academic excellence and an outstanding pastoral care programme.

If you are interested in working in a top independent school, please forward your CV asap to: devra.farhi@harrishill.co.uk or please ask for Devra for an informal chat on: 020 7820 7308.

Harris Hill is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all partners to share this commitment.
