Harris Hill are looking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced Teacher of SEN or existing SENDco, to undertake a position at a prestigious independent senior school in London on a permanent basis, from September 2020.

 This is a remarkable oppotunity for an experienced SEN teacher to progress into a SENDco position, or an existing  to scale back from your typical SLT responsibilities. The school provides flexibility for an exceptional candidate, should they wish to work a less than full timetable i.e 0.8 and please note, this role incorporates management of 4 SEN teachers (including one one English and one Mathematics specialist)

 Person specification

Essential requirements

 - Excellent undergraduate degree

- QTS

- SEN teaching experience in a secondary or senior school

- EAL experience 

Desirable requirements

- SENDco/ management position experience 

- Assessor qualification

- English and literacy specialist

- Mathematics specialist

- Experience in the independent sector would be advantageous

- NASENCO qualification (or interest in working towards)
