SEN Teacher

Job description

A leading independent Preparatory School in London require an SEN teacher from September, 2022. This is a permanent position which would entail assisting pupils through the school with needs such as: dyslexia, EAL, dyspraxia, and mild learning difficulties.

Essential: Prior SEN experience or applications from strong NQTs would also be warmly considered. Full support would be provided for the ECT Induction.

Desired: SEN qualifications (NASENCO or other) and a background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

The school places a strong emphasis on the wider community and establishing a partnership with parents so that the children are able to flourish in a nurturing yet stimulating environment. The development of interpersonal skills, team spirit and strong self awareness is achieved through a comprehensive programme which includes varied and exciting extracurricular activities.
