A leading independent school on the Kent borders require an SEN teacher from April or September, 2022.  This is a permanent post which would entail working one to one as well in small groups with students from KS3 to KS5 with special needs such as: dyslexia, dyscalculia, autism, and dyspraxia. Assistance with accommodation is available.

Essential: A successful track record of teaching pupils with special needs, particularly dyslexia.

Desired: Additional SEN qualifications and a background in the independent sector, would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

The school's strong academic academic achievements are complemented equally by a multi-faceted and vibrant co-curricular programme which offers breadth and depth, as well as an outstanding pastoral care provision. At the forefront of the school's ethos is teaching students values such as: service, grit, honesty, and integrity. Within the classroom, the school encourages pupils to strive for the highest academic standards, to seize the many learning opportunities provided and to celebrate their achievements and those of their peers.

If you are passionate about SEN teaching and would like the opportunity to work in a top independent school, please forward your CV asap to: devra.farhi@harrishill.co.uk or please ask for Devra for an informal chat on: 020 7820 7308.

Harris Hill is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all partners to share this commitment.
