PE Teacher

Job description

A leading independent school on the Oxfordshire borders require a PE teacher from April, 2022. This is a permanent, position which would entail teaching PE to at least GCSE and assisting with coaching football and/or rugby.  Assistance with accommodation is available.

Essential: Prior experience teaching PE at secondary level, or applications from strong NQTs would also be warmly considered.

Desired: A specialisation in football or rugby, and a background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

A balance of academic rigour and pursuit and drive in extracurricular activities is valued and encouraged at the school in order to provide a well-rounded education for students. These are both underpinned by an excellent pastoral care programme. Values such as: honesty, humility, grit, and compassion are central to the school's mission.
