A top independent Preparatory School in London require a Music teacher from April, 2022. This is initially a position for 1 year, and which would entail teaching Music to Year 6.

Essential: Prior experience teaching Music at Primary or Secondary level, or applications from strong NQTs would also be warmly considered. Full support would be provided for the NQT Induction.

Desired: A classical background and experience in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

The chosen candidate would be responsible for assisting with school choirs as well as orchestra. The school fosters the importance of each child as an individual, thereby equipping them with the skills to be a life-long learner and have a thirst for knowledge. This is paired with a pastoral ethos that encourages tolerance, mutual respect, courtesy and thoughtfulness for others, both within the school and in the wider community.
