A top Independent Preparatory School in London require a Music teacher from January, 2021. This is initially a position for 1 year, and which would entail teaching Music from Years 4-6.

Essential: Prior experience teaching Music at Primary or Secondary level, or applications from strong NQTs would also be warmly considered.

Desired: A classical background and experience in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

The chosen candidate would be responsible for running the School choirs as well as orchestra. The School aims to foster the importance of each child as an individual, thereby equipping them with the skills to be a life-long learner and have a thirst for knowledge. This is paired with a pastoral ethos that encourages tolerance, mutual respect, courtesy and thoughtfulness for others, both within school and in the wider community.
