MFL Subject Leader

Job description

A leading independent school in Kent borders require an MFL Subject Leader from September, 2020. The position would entail managing a department as well as teaching French to A level and Spanish to a minimum of Key Stage 3.

Essential: Prior experience teaching French to A level and the ability to offer Spanish to at least Key Stage 3. A background holding a position of responsibility would be essential.

Desired: Experience teaching Spanish to GCSE or A level, a native speaker of French and prior managerial experience as well as a background in the independent sector would be a bonus.

The Modern Foreign Languages Department is a very popular and thriving department in the school with many students going on to pursue the study of languages at a Russell Group University.

The successful candidate will be expected to play an active role in contributing to the range of exciting co-curricular activities offered by the department.
