A leading independent school on the Cambridgeshire/Essex borders require a teacher of Maths from September, 2020. This is a permanent position which would entail teaching Maths to A level.

Essential: Prior experience teaching Maths to A level or applications from strong NQTs or postgraduates would also be warmly received.

Desired: Experience at A level and a background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

Maths is a very popular subject at the school with the majority of students going on to study at a Russell Group university. A balanced education of academic rigour and pursuit and drive in extracurricular activities is valued and encouraged at the school to provide a well-rounded education for students. These are both underpinned by excellence in pastoral care.
