Maths Teacher

Job description

A leading Independent Preparatory School on the French borders require a Maths teacher from October, 2020. This is a permanent position which would entail teaching Maths from Years 6 to 8. 

Essential: Prior experience teaching Maths, or applications from strong NQTs, secondary trained or non-qualified teachers would also be warmly received. Excellent written and spoken English would be essential.

Desired: Prior experience teaching Maths, a teaching qualification, and a background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

The school aims to create a supportive and caring environment in which pupils feel happy and safe. They are well cared for by dedicated staff who are able to give excellent individual attention in small classes averaging about 15 pupils.
