History teacher

Job description

A leading independent school in Scotland require a History teacher to start, ideally, as soon as possible. The position would run till the end of the academic year in the first instance, however, there is a possibility the post may become permanent. The role would entail teaching History at Highers and Advanced Highers level.

Essential: Prior experience teaching History at secondary level or applications from strong NQTs would also be warmly considered. QTS would be essential for the role.
Full support would be provided for the NQT Induction.

Desired: Prior experience teaching History at Advanced Highers level or A level and a background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.
