A growing co-ed school based in Surrey is looking to appoint a Head of Science for September 2019.

The School
This growing co-ed boarding school based out in the Surrey Hills currently goes up to Year 9 with intentions of going into Key Stage 4 from 2020. Set in over 65 acres with just over 200 current pupils offers space to develop and grow. The school aims to develop the pupils both educationally and also develop their moral, spiritual and cultural awareness.

The role
The successful candidate will have experience teaching science to at least year 9 and ideally to GCSE. You will also hold a recognised degree and teaching qualification. The ideal candidate will also have experience in delivering safe and effective practical lessons in at least one of the sciences.

This position will have an integral part in the expansion of the department and development of the science facility across the school. an ability to work independently while working in the larger school team and commitment to the wider school life is essential.
