An independent girls day school has an exciting opportunity for a Head of Maths to join the school from January 2019.

The school is based in West London and currently has around 230 pupils. With a mix of rich tradition and modern and forward thinking practice it is an ideal setting for the next career step. The school gives a holistic educational approach and sets the girls up for their onward journey to some of London's finest senior independent schools. The Head of Maths will be responsible for teaching maths to years 4,5 and 6, along with giving advice and guidance to the EYFS and KS1 teachers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience at teaching either; 11+ and common entrance levels or from a senior school level looking for a new challenge. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience. The ability to develop and maintain parental relationships is also a crucial skill to succeed in the role. Knowledge of the independent school sector and taking pupils through to 11+ and common entrance levels would be advantageous but not essential. This role is suited for someone looking for longevity in a role.
