A leading Independent Preparatory School in London require a Head of Inclusion from January, 2022, or a later start would also be considered. This is a permanent position which would entail providing support and guidance to pupils in order to remove barriers, and increase self-esteem and aspiration levels so they can attain their full potential.

Central to the position will be to outline the strategic direction and development of the department, and identify pupils who have special requirements such as visual, speaking or learning difficulties and who qualify for examination access arrangements.

Essential: A successful track record of teaching pupils with special needs.  Applications from experienced teachers from secondary school environments would also be warmly received.

Desired: A NASENCO qualification, experience holding a position of responsibility, and a background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is not essential.
