A leading independent school in London require a Head of Inclusion from September, 2022. This is a permanent position which would entail providing support and guidance to pupils from Year 7 to GCSE primarily, in order to remove barriers and increase self-esteem and aspiration levels so students can attain their full potential.

The successful candidate will demonstrate best practise throughout the school to ensure students of all attainment levels reach their potential.

Central to the  position will be to outline the strategic direction and development of the department, and identify pupils who have special requirements such as visual, speaking or learning difficulties and who qualify for examination access arrangements.
 
Essential: A successful track record of teaching pupils with special needs.
 
Desired: A NASENCO qualification, experience holding a position of responsibility, and a background in the independent sector, would be a bonus, however, this is not essential.
