Head of Geography

Job description

A leading independent school on the London borders require a Head of Geography from September 2021. This is a permanent position which would entail managing a popular department, as well as teaching Geography to A level.

Essential: A successful and proven track record of teaching Geography to A level.

Desired: Experience holding a position of responsibility and a background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

The school strives to create in its pupils qualities of greatness which help them achieve their potential both during their time at school and beyond it. The school's emphasis on the pupils' character encourages them to reach their personal best and help others readily. Academic rigour and an excellent pastoral care system coupled with a vast co-curricular programme are central to the school's mission.

If you would like the opportunity to lead a department in a top independent school, please send your CV as soon as possible to devra.farhi@harrishill.co.uk or please ask for Devra on: 020 7820 7308 for an informal chat.

Harris Hill is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all partners to share this commitment.
