An independent school on the London/Herts borders require a Head of Food Technology from September, 2020. The position would entail teaching Food Technology to GCSE level and Resistant Materials to Key Stage 3, as well as managing two staff members. Assistance with accommodation may be available, if needed.

Essential: Prior experience teaching Food Technology or applications from strong NQTs would also be warmly received.

Desired: The ability to offer Resistant Materials to GCSE level and a background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

Their last inspection found that the quality of relationships between staff and pupils, and amongst the pupils themselves is outstanding. The ethos of the school is one which cultivates an appetite for achievement, a determination to succeed and a lifelong love of learning. Within the classroom, they encourage pupils to strive for the highest academic standards, to seize the many learning opportunities provided and to celebrate their achievements and those of their peers. State of the art facilities are on offer in the department and school-wide. A lucrative package is on offer for the successful candidate.

If you are a passionate Food Technologist and would like the opportunity to teach your subject in a top independent school, please forward your CV asap to devra.farhi@harrishill.co.uk or please ask for Devra on: 020 7820 7308 for an informal chat.
