A leading independent school on the east London borders require an English teacher, ideally as soon as possible. The position would run till the end of the academic year and has a strong likelihood of becoming permanent. The position would entail teaching to at least GCSE level.

Essential: Prior experience teaching English at secondary level or applications from strong NQTs or postgraduates would also be warmly considered.

Desired: A background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.
