A thriving independent school on the Kent/Surrey borders require an English & Drama teacher from September 2020. This is a permanent position which would entail teaching English up to A level and Drama to at least Key Stage 3. There are fast track opportunities for middle leadership for the right candidate.

Essential: Prior experience teaching English to A level and the ability to offer Drama to a minimum of Key Stage 3. Full support would be provided for the NQT Induction.

Desired: A proven track record of teaching English to A level, Drama to Key Stage 3 or above, as well as a background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

The school's mission is to foster a thirst for knowledge and a real commitment to learning. Students are shown what it means to take responsibility; they are encouraged to develop a strong moral code with the ability to make informed judgements about what is right and wrong. Central to their ethos is the importance of caring for others and teaching students important skills for later life: social, physical and practical.

If you are an enthusiastic linguist and thespian looking for an opportunity to teach in a top independent school, please forward your CV asap to devra.farhi@harrishill.co.uk or please call Devra for an informal chat on: 020 7820 7308.

Harris Hill is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all partners to share this commitment.
