Economics Teacher

Job description

A leading independent school on the Essex borders require an Economics teacher from September, 2024. This is a permanent position which would entail teaching Economics to A level.

Essential: Prior experience teaching Economics, or application from strong ECTs or postgraduates would also be warmly considered. Full support would be offered for the ECT Induction.

Desired: Experienced teaching Economics at A level and a background in the independent sector would be a bonus; however, this is certainly not essential.

The school's strong academic achievements are complemented equally by a multi-faceted and vibrant co-curricular programme that offers breadth and depth, as well as an outstanding pastoral care provision. At the forefront of the school's ethos is teaching students values such as service, grit, honesty, and integrity. Within the classroom, the school encourages pupils to strive for the highest academic standards, to seize the many learning opportunities provided, and to celebrate their achievements and those of their peers.
