A leading independent Preparatory School in London require a part-time Director of Music from September, 2022. This is a permanent position which would entail managing a hugely successful department, as well as teaching Music up to Year 6, and directing concerts and school productions.

Essential: Prior experience teaching Music at Primary level, or applications from experienced secondary trained teachers would also be warmly considered.

Desired: A classical background and experience in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

The school places a strong emphasis on the wider community and establishing a partnership with parents so that the children are able to flourish in a nurturing yet stimulating environment. The development of interpersonal skills, team spirit and strong self awareness is achieved through a comprehensive programme which includes varied and exciting extracurricular activities.
