A leading Independent School in London require a Director of Digital Learning from September 2020. This is a full-time, permanent position which would entail the creation and delivering of E-Learning throughout the school with a view to playing a leading role in the digital strategy for the whole school, delivering training needs to staff, as well as teaching Computer Science to at least GCSE level.

Essential: The chosen candidate would ideally have a teaching qualification, however, this is not compulsory, and a degree in Computer Science or related discipline. A broad knowledge of the latest innovations in new technologies and their role in improving achievement and engaging pupils is paramount.

Desired: Prior teaching and/or a leadership background in ICT/Computer Science in an educational setting would be a bonus as well as teaching Computer Science to A level, however, this is certainly not essential.

The school is set on stunning, picturesque surroundings and lavish grounds for sport. State of the art facilities highlight all areas of the school. Pupils are taught how to think analytically and independently; preparing them for our ever changing world. Academic rigour is underpinned by an equally strong and nurturing pastoral care system. All students and staff are encouraged to contribute to life at the school and to make the most of the opportunities available. The school's central aim is to ensure pupils leave as well-rounded and balanced individuals with a real sense of identity.
