A leading independent school on the London borders require a Deputy Head of English from September, 2020. The position would entail teaching English from Years 5-8 as well as assisting with the management of the department

Essential: Prior experience teaching English to at least Year 6. Applications from experienced Secondary trained teachers would also be warmly received.

Desired: Prior experience teaching to Common Entrance and Scholarship level, or to GCSE/A level as well as a background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.
