Classics Teacher

Job description

An independent school on the London/Herts borders require a Teacher of Classics from September 2020. The position would entail teaching Latin and Classical Civilisation up to A level. Assistance with accommodation may be available, if needed.

Essential: Prior experience teaching Latin and Classical Civilisation to A level or applications from strong NQTs or postgraduates would also be warmly received.

Desired: The ability to offer Greek to GCSE or A level and a background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

Their last inspection found that the quality of relationships between staff and pupils, and amongst the pupils themselves is outstanding. The ethos of the school is one which cultivates an appetite for achievement, a determination to succeed and a lifelong love of learning.
