A leading independent school in the South West of England require a Deputy Housemistress from January, 2022, however, a slightly later start may also be considered. This is a permanent position which would entail ensuring the pastoral welfare of students in the boarding house. The school is happy to offer a teaching element to the post, and equally, a purely non-teaching role.

Essential: Prior experience working in a boarding environment is essential.

Desired: Experience in a boarding school environment in the UK would be an advantage, however, this is certainly not essential.
