A fantastic day and boarding prep school Located in Sussex is looking for an Assistant director of Music for September 2019.

The School
Based in the South Sussex countryside this boarding and day Prep schools prides its self on encouraging each pupil to be the best they can be. Set in its own expansive grounds with sports fields, astro-turf pitch and its own small golf course, with views over the countryside it is truly a calm and peaceful space to educate. With classrooms specifically designed for each purpose gives pupils the best start possible. This school sends its pupils onto some of the top boarding and day schools in the country, with pupils going to Tonbridge, Roedean and Charterhouse to name but a few.

The role:
The successful candidate will a degree and relevant reaching qualification, you will have experience in music teaching within the independent school setting and be an accomplished piano player. You will have also had experience in directing choirs and orchestras, there will a requirement to work on whole school productions and experience in this is essential.

The role will include a 5 day a week timetable spread over 6 days a week. As with the nature of the role and the extra-curricular provision there will be an expectation for some evenings.
