A leading independent school in London requires a teacher of Chemisty or Senior Chemistry teacher, ideally for a January 2027 start. Roles with responsibility on a fast-track stream are available for more experienced teachers.

Essential: Strong academics and experience teaching Chemistry at A-level or applications from strong ECTs or postgraduates would also be warmly considered. Full support would be provided for the ECT Induction.

Desired: A background in the independent sector would be a bonus, however, this is certainly not essential.

The school's mission is to foster a thirst for knowledge and a real commitment to learning.  Students are shown what it means to take responsibility; they are encouraged to develop a strong moral code with the ability to make informed judgements about what is right and wrong. Central to their ethos is the importance of caring for others and teaching students important skills for later life: social, physical and practical.

If you are a passionate about all things Chemistry, please forward your CV as soon as possible by clicking the 'Apply' button.

Harris Hill is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all partners to share this commitment.
